Practical use of joint development by TOYOKIN Co., Ltd., Toyota Central R&D Labs., Inc. and MEIDENSYA Co., Ltd, made a great success in development of microorganism processing plant. We have obtained high acclaim as a success case of three-industries-cooperation from Aichi Prefecture and Chubu Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry.
This is the system called as Waste Engine Cooling Water (LLC) Microorganism Treatment Plant which received excellent prize winning of Aichi environmental prize. This development made it possible to remove the high concentrated Ethylene Glycol 100% which is the main ingredient of waste engine cooling water (LLC). Generally, engine cooling water (LLC) hitherto was disposed as waste at incinerator, though there were problems in that treatment, offensive odor, dioxin, CO2 and other pollution have been caused. But using this bio technology apparatus, we materialized non-pollution processing, reduction of offensive odor, dioxin and CO2 occurrences, and cutback organic pollution from sewage system, rivers, and soil.
Effuent from this treatment plant is very pure. This transparency proves high ability of non-pollution processing treatment. Administration, clients, and communities are surprised at the spectacle of swimming carp in the treatment plant's effuent. At the same time all of them accept our technological strength and environmental work. Some of business operators for industrial waste treatment, treatment procedures often are not going through consistent business operators. But nowadays, "Discharger's Responsibility" for waste is being demanded. In our case, we would like to take responsibility from beginning to the end with confirming by our eyes, thus we manage all along and dispose engine cooling water by ourselves. Our high technological strengths are connected to thoroughgoing consideration to keep our environment.
