Cut chips and disused automobiles

- “Optical emission spectrometer” is used to identify constituents of cut chips and cast powder so as to offer resources of higher quality that meet requirements of users. Handheld type of optical emission spectrometer is also used for on-site analysis.
Shavings and ground iron powder
Metallic shavings that are produced at a lathe or a milling cutter are called “metal chips.”
“Metal chips” and ground iron powder are not disposed by landfill but utilized as feedstock at foundries and steel plants. They are pressed into cylindrical shapes by the high pressure machine (briquetting machine). Drying is carried out as well as press-compression.

Build a “model plant”
A plant that handles waste is indispensable for our lives but it can never be operated without understanding of people in the surrounding area. That is why TOYOKIN considers organizing and housekeeping very important and keeps trying to build a clean and efficient “model plant” at every office. We want every plant to be praised as an amazing plant by all the people and to be a plant we are proud of.
Organizing and housekeeping is never missed, of course, at Teiho Plant that started running in 2015. This is the plant that especially amazes visitors with its unique system. Please take a look at a “model plant”!
Small household appliances
TOYOKIN is a waste disposal company licensed on the basis of Act on Promotion of Recycling of Small Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment. We collect small household appliances from Aichi, Gifu, Mie, and Shizuoka prefectures.
Collected small household appliances are manually disassembled to remove batteries, chlorofluorocarbons, power cords, memories that supposedly contain personally identifiable information, etc. Then disassembled appliances are mechanically shredded, sorted into circuit boards, non-ferrous metals (mixtures of metals), and plastics by multi-sorter, and recycled at respective smelting manufacturer.
